Controlled Autonomy was an early 'digi-collage' exploration first debuted at BTW in Sydney, Australia in 2018. It explores themes of the artist’s Ashanti heritage, sexuality, warfare and body politics. The 'digi collage' came from collecting 3D digital objects and amassing a large library of files obtained from file sharing and scouring the internet. Much like a traditional collage artist would do with photos.
